GTC is the first trading office of the Republic of Sri Lanka in Russia with an electronic trading platform. We specialize in selling Sri Lankan manufacturers' products to Russian electronic trading platforms (B2B) and marketplaces (B2C). We are building cooperation with all willing and interested in a trade (including through electronic trading platforms) on the Russian market and on the market of the EAEU Customs Union countries (Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyz Republic) by foreign companies.

The total population of the Union countries is about 200 million people.

We find an interesting and individual business model of cooperation for each interested foreign company to sell its products. We accept orders for the search of goods produced in Russia and its delivery to your country. Meeting at the Embassy of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Moscow with Professor Janita Abeyvikrema Liyanage, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation, as well as the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Uzbekistan concurrently. Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Russia prof. Janita Liyanage sent a congratulatory note to the business forum with best wishes and greetings. FCCISL Senior Vice President Kirti Gunawardena opened the event by welcoming attendees and emphasizing the importance of strengthening relations between Sri Lanka and Russia during the rather challenging times both countries are going through.

FCCISL Secretary General/Executive Director Ajit D. Perera gave a presentation on trade relations between Russia and Sri Lanka and highlighted the fact that despite longstanding political and economic relations, trade volumes have not grown significantly. This clearly shows that there is a need to develop a strategic business plan at the government level between the two countries.

Speaking at the forum, Suresh De Mel, Chairman of the Export Development Council, said that such business forums can create new business relationships between the business communities of both countries and provide them with a platform to explore new business opportunities available in Sri Lanka and Russia. This will strengthen and strengthen commercial ties between Sri Lanka and Russia.

Speaking at the Forum, GTC General Director Igor Valentinovich Kirillov said that the company has already started discussions with manufacturers, Sri Lanka companies on cooperation and sales of products on the Electronic Trading Platforms of Russia and the countries of the Customs Union. He expressed his deep gratitude to the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Russia and personally to the Madam Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Russia for their active participation and assistance in strengthening economic cooperation and holding the "Economic Forum. Electronic Trading Platforms of Russia" in Colombo.

After the end of the Forum, the participants of the forum actively entered into communication with the Head of the Delegation, General Director of GTC Kirillov Igor.
